Outrigger Canoe
Introduction to Outrigger Canoe
This class is designed as an introductory course on paddling outrigger canoe. No previous experience is necessary. Classes will cover:
- Outrigger terminology, anatomy and history
- Stroke technique
- Pace and group padding skills
- Racing basics
- Open water paddling skills (as time/conditions allow)
- Structure: 4 week course of: 1.5 hour classes twice per week. Max of 12 students per course.
