Introducing our New Coach: Sandy Culver

We are excited to announce that Sandy is back at Lincoln Park Boat Club, now as head coach of the women’s sweep rowing team. Sandy has previously rowed with several clubs around the country including Lincoln Park. For the past 5 years she has coached juniors, collegiate and master’s rowing including being head coach at Lafayette College for 3 years. During that time she developed successful crews that repeatedly medaled at Dad Vails, Knecht Cup and the Head of the Charles.

Sandy’s personal rowing accomplishments include winning two U.S. Rowing National Championships in the women’s senior lightweight 2x; top finishes at the Canadian Henley and Head of the Charles in the women’s lightweight 4+; and training with former U.S. National Team Coach Igor Grinko at the Augusta Training Center before competing in the 2004 Olympic Trials for the lightweight women’s 2x. We welcome Sandy to the Team!

Practice Times:

Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Thursdays at 5am

Sundays at 8am

September 20	Milwaukee River Challenge	Milwaukee, WI
September 27	Head of the Ohio	Pittsburg, PA
October 12	Head of the Rock	Rockford, IL
October 18	Head of the Charles Regatta	Boston, MA

Women’s Team Fees:

$75 per month Membership Fees

For non-LBPC members: Enjoy half season membership for $190 (membership lasts until March 2009)

River site location- for on the water (OTW) practices
